The goal of this project was to achieve top-notch, evenly distributed sound throughout the space, while maintaining the functionality of the daily work of the student cafeteria. Due to the demanding configuration of the space – large glass surfaces, stainless steel reflections and an elongated floor plan – the project required precise planning and a serious acoustic approach.

A D.A.S. Audio Event 26A line array system, was implemented, paired with Event 218A subwoofers and additional Event 115 subwoofers. In order to ensure the same sound level throughout the entire space, including zones almost 40 meters away from the stage, the system was supplemented with two delay points.

The result is a space that today offers exceptionally clean, powerful and controlled sound, evenly distributed without too loud zones and acoustic problems. Thanks to precise optimization of the system, the hall has become one of the best-sounding multipurpose spaces of its kind, equally suitable for everyday work, events and concert productions
